Emergency Medical Services Week

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) week is a week of celebration dedicated to the achievements of the men and women who daily, are on the front lines within the EMS community. These men and women who are first responders, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, emergency medical dispatchers and other team members like emergency room physicians and emergency room nurses who deliver life saving skills to people daily.

With advances in modern technology, exciting new medical procedures, and dedication to countless hours of skilled training, the emergency room on wheels will arrive at any scene of any emergency incident prepared too provide essential life saving skills and treatment.

But today's EMS is more than just an ambulance. We at Spiritwood Ambulance Care are "Committed to Excellence" and provide the community and surrounding areas access to as much Health Education and Information as possible. Spiritwood Ambulance will be providing many educational and information clinics with in the community during EMS Week.  Check out our calendar of events for Spiritwood and for Big River for an up to date list of EMS week activities.
